Annabel Morrison
(MA (Hons) DipION mBANT rCNHC)

I am a Registered Nutritional Therapist, based in East Lothian, Scotland. I have always been passionate about food and nutrition, and the impact it can have on health and wellbeing. I trained at the highly respected Institute of Optimum Nutrition in Richmond upon Thames.

I follow the principles of Functional Medicine, and look at the root cause of symptoms, rather than just the symptom itself. All my work is evidence-based and backed by science.

I have a degree in French and Management from The University of St Andrews. My first career was in investment banking which gave me an insight into the impact of chronic stress within the corporate world.

I have always been passionate about cooking and completed the two term diploma at Leiths School of Food and Wine. With a ‘food first’ approach to Nutritional Therapy, I prefer to add foods rather than take them away, and very much believe in the enjoyable experience of eating.

I am registered with the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and also with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). I am also fully insured.

I have completed a three month practitioner programme with Lifecode GX and offer DNA nutrigenomic testing as part of my services. I am fascinated by the interaction of our genes with nutrition (aka nutrigenomics) and how they influence each other.
